Venus + Inanna

Their spiral is your sacred feminine map

On Tuesday, February 17th, Venus rises as Evening Star after being hidden behind the sun since November 2025.

In the language of the myth, Inanna is emerging from the Underworld phase of her journey.

She’s not returning as the same woman she once was, though. The descent and Underworld has done its work. She has been stripped, refined and clarified by the depths. What could not survive the fire has been burned away - it’s not meant to come with her for this next half of the 19-month cycle.

Now, she rises more mature, more sovereign, newly oriented to her own truth and carrying only what is aligned with who she has become.

Evening Star carries a different quality than Morning Star. This is no longer the energy of fiery initiation or outward conquest. Evening Star is grounded and earthy, an expression of integrated feminine authority. She rises with intention rather than impulse - embodied and clear.

AS ABOVE SO BELOW

When I began tracking Venus in real time, everything shifted for me. I stopped taking every contraction so personally. I stopped assuming that every loss meant something had gone wrong. I began to understand where I was in the spiral. It showed me how to honor cycles of letting go, surrender, renewal and becoming. It gave me language for dying to old identities and old ways of being so I could step into who I was becoming.

In this way, there is something deeply regulating about knowing you are in a cycle. There is something grounding about recognizing that descent and ascent are built into the architecture of the cosmos.

For me, I’m not the same being I was when we entered the beginning of this cycle (Morning Star) back in March 2025.

And, I’m not even the same woman I was back in November 2025 when we entered the Underworld with Inanna!

I feel as though I have shed 1,000 skins.
I have moved through initiation after initiation.
I love more deeply and differently.
